Schools, social structure, and special needs students. I think about these topics from many perspectives in my roles as mother, school board member, transition specialist (transition here refers to helping students with disabilities move successfully from secondary school to adult life) and former public school teacher and administrator. Education issues & solutions are often not as straightforward as many educational pundits and "advocates" would have us believe.
